While most ceramic coatings use Silicon Dioxide (SiO₂), Opti-Coat pioneered the use of Silicon Carbide (SiC) technology to deliver greater chemical resistance, durability, and long-term performance.

Originally developed for industrial applications where extreme durability is required, Silicon Carbide is one of the hardest and most chemically resistant materials available. By incorporating SiC into our coating technology, Opti-Coat created a protection system designed to withstand years of exposure to UV radiation, environmental contamination, detergents, road salts, bird droppings, and other harsh conditions that can degrade conventional coatings.
